The complete cast is now set for the Broadway engagement of Joshua Harmon's Significant Other. A majority of the original cast from the off-Broadway world premiere, including Gideon Glick and Lindsay Mendez will reprise their performances. Joining the company this time around is current Marie and Rosetta star Rebecca Naomi Jones. Performances will begin on February 14, 2017 at the Booth Theatre; opening night is set for March 2.
Rounding out the company in the Trip Cullman-helmed production are returning faces Barbara Barrie, John Behlmann, Sas Goldberg and Luke Smith.
Glick made his Broadway debut in Spring Awakening and went on to perform in Speech & Debate and Wild Animals You Should Know off-Broadway. He is currently appearing in The Harvest off-Broadway at LCT3. Mendez, a former Broadway.com vlogger, returns to Broadway after appearing in shows including Wicked and Godspell. Jones, a fellow vlogger, last appeared on Broadway in Hedwig and the Angry Inch. Her additional credits include American Idiot and Passing Strange on Broadway and The Fortress of Solitude and Murder Ballad off-Broadway.
Barrie’s Broadway credits include a Tony-nominated turn in Company, as well as The Selling of the President and Torch Song Trilogy. Behlmann made his Broadway debut in Journey’s End. Goldberg, who also appeared off-Broadway in Stunning, makes her Broadway debut with Significant Other. Smith has appeared on Broadway previously in Peter and the Starcatcher.
Significant Other follows Jordan Berman, who combats single life with nights joined by his trio of girlfriends. But as those friends become coupled off, he learns that guiding and supporting loved ones through their relationships is just as hard as the exhausting quest for Mr. Right.
